In this video, coach Hörst presents entry-level protocols and guidelines for prudent training with a hangboard.

While a hangboard is an excellent tool for training finger strength and endurance, its rigors are not appropriate for novice climbers. After a period of, say, one year of regular climbing (two or three days per week), then you may be ready to engage in the training shown in this video.
